The blazer trend has become a staple in modern fashion, offering a versatile piece that can be dressed up or down for various occasions. Some of my fabulous clients aren’t too sure of how to really ‘rock’ them so we have fun trying lots of different ways.
Evolution of the Blazer Trend!!
Classic Roots: Traditionally part of formal business attire, blazers have their roots in menswear, often paired with suits.
Casual Integration: Over the years, blazers have transitioned into more casual wardrobes, paired with jeans, t-shirts, and of course sneakers.
Bold and Oversized: The trend has also seen the rise of oversized blazers, adding a chic, relaxed vibe.
Colour and Patterns: Beyond classic black, navy, and grey, blazers now come in vibrant colours, patterns like plaids and checks, and even floral prints. Wear a hair coloured blazer or one similar to your eye colour for memorable added impact!
Fabric Variety: Blazers are now available in diverse fabrics, including wool, cotton, velvet, linen, and tweed, catering to different seasons and styles.

Sweaters and Hoodies: For colder weather, layer a blazer over a thin sweater or even a hoodie for a stylish streetwear vibe.
Scarves and Accessories…
Enhance the look with scarves, statement necklaces/jewels, or belts.
Styling Tips.
Fit Matters: Ensure the blazer fits well on the shoulders and isn’t too tight or too loose. Don’t go too boxy through the body as it can make you feel wider. Avoid blazers that are too long if you’re petite. Soft tailored blazers are great for petites & those who are wide through the waist.
Accessorize Well: Use accessories to enhance your look without overwhelming it or you. Small details/pockets/lapels/buttons if you’re petite or larger busted.
Tailoring: If off-the-rack blazers don’t fit perfectly, consider having them tailored.
